Course Description
Advanced Chemistry is an advanced high school course that delves into the fundamental principles of chemistry with a strong emphasis on theoretical understanding and practical laboratory skills. Students will explore a wide range of topics including atomic structure, chemical bonding, stoichiometry, states of matter, thermochemistry, kinetics, equilibrium, acids and bases, redox reactions, and nuclear chemistry. The course includes hands-on laboratory experiments to reinforce concepts and develop scientific inquiry skills. Designed for motivated students with a solid foundation in mathematics and science, Honors Chemistry prepares learners for higher-level chemistry courses and fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication in scientific contexts.
